My Gear

A closer look at the tools I trust and why they matter to me

My Gear Choices

I didn’t start with expensive or high-end equipment. I would like to start with what I can afford. Most of my gear is second-hand, and that’s exactly why I like it — it’s practical, accessible, and perfect for learning. The Canon 750D is an older camera, but it gives me everything I need to understand exposure, lighting, and composition without overwhelming me.

The Sigma 17–50mm f/2.8 is my go-to lens because it’s versatile and lets me shoot wide scenes or closer subjects with good sharpness and low-light capability. The Canon 50mm f/1.8 gives me a chance to practice creamy backgrounds and portraits without spending much.

My ND filters help me experiment with long exposure during the day, and my SmallRig tripod keeps my shots stable during night photography. Everything in my kit serves a purpose — nothing fancy, just reliable tools that allow me to enjoy the process and improve slowly.
